S.T.Dupont Classique Ballpoint Pen, new version of the iconic Classique ballpoint pen created 50 years ago at the request of Jackie Onassis to have a pen matching her Dupont lighter.
Dupont house does not manufacture writing instruments until then but decides to take up the challenge: the brass and the design of its Ligne 1 inspire the craftsmen who transpose the vertical metallic guilloche of the lighter's driver to the body of a pen. The first S.T.Dupont pen was born!
The reissue of the Classique model is a little less fine, unisex and more ergonomic, keeping the details that made its elegance and timelessness.

Features of the S.T.Dupont Classique collection
Each pen in the S.T.Dupont Classique collection is made in France with meticulous attention from precious materials. The careful finishes enhance this extraordinary writing instrument. The base of the pen body is made of brass, the finishes are in gold, palladium, black lacquer, blue or red.
Some models are decorated with vertical or diagonal guillochés, giving a subtle texture to the touch and a decidedly contemporary look.
The "D", the symbol of the brand, adorns the top of the pen for immediate recognition.
The laquered clip is articulated, it withstands more than 70,000 manipulations.

Rotary mechanism ballpoint pen: comes with a black refill, refillable with the S.T.Dupont mini ballpoint pen refills (black or blue ink).
